Segway tour with Segway Sensations
Spend the afternoon having a ‘wheelie’ good time along the banks of the Torrens with our mates from Segway Sensations, before kicking back with some food and drinks on a BBQ Buoy. Segway tours last for one hour and they provide everything you need to be a Segway superstar. As they say themselves, “It takes only moments to learn but forever to get the smile off your face.” We think the same applies to the Buoys!
Adelaide Oval Roof Climb
Climb to the top of one of Australia’s most iconic sporting arenas with this amazing experience. Twilight tours are available daily, with tours running from 10am to 9pm available on Friday and Saturday. We’d recommend coming for a cruise and a drink on the BBQ Buoys after the adrenaline rush; you may need time to have a drink and unwind!
Wine Tour with Shiraz and Co
Basking in the morning sun while eating breakfast aboard a BBQ Buoy is an ideal way to start your morning. To keep the good times rolling into the afternoon, one of our favourite options is being whisked away in a chauffeur-driven vehicle to one of South Australia’s famous wine regions by our friends at Shiraz and Co. You’ll experience a blissful day of fine wine, amazing food and good vibes, sounds pretty good to us!
Explore Surrounding Bars and Restaurants
It’s no secret that Adelaide is home to numerous world-class dining and bar experiences, and many of the top spots fall within a short walk of the BBQ Buoys base. If you still have an appetite after grazing on a Buoy; restaurants such as Red Ochre, Jolley’s Boathouse and Sean’s Kitchen all offer top shelf food and quality dining experiences. If you want to kick on for a drink; the endless flavours of the Peel Street precinct or the classy rooftop bar 2KW could be for you!
Adelaide Tree Climb in the CBD
The Adelaide tree climb is Australia’s first inner-city adventure park and provides an experience like no other. Challenge yourself on the high wires and obstacle courses before unwinding on a BBQ Buoy. Sounds like a recipe for a successful team building exercise to us! The Tree Climb park is located on Greenhill Road, just west of Unley Road.
